Last updated: 1 November 2026

This policy explains how Inspire Disability Care handles information through the Inspire Care mobile app and related staff workspace. The app is for invited employees and authorised contractors. It is not a public health service and does not provide medical advice or emergency assistance.

Information handled in the app

Staff account information may include your name, work email address, staff or account identifier, organisation and work role. The app uses this information to authenticate you and show the workspace available to your account.

Work information may include assigned shifts, shift responses, availability or leave information, open-shift requests, clock-in and clock-out events, attendance and timesheet records.

When enabled and used, care notes and incident reports may contain information about the people receiving support, including identifying, disability, health and support information. Staff may see participant information needed for their authorised work.

The app and service may process limited technical and security information needed to operate the service, protect accounts and investigate faults. The mobile app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

How information is used

Inspire Disability Care uses this information to sign staff in, provide rosters and shift tools, record attendance and timesheets, support continuity of care, manage care notes and incidents when those features are used, protect the service and respond to support requests.

Who information is shared with

Information is available to authorised Inspire Disability Care personnel who need it for work purposes. The app uses Supabase for account authentication and an application API hosted on Railway. These service providers process information as needed to provide and secure their services. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Cloud service providers may process or store information outside Australia depending on their infrastructure and configuration. Contact us if you need current information about provider locations.

Participant information

Participant information is confidential and should only be viewed or entered for authorised care work. The app is intended for staff, not for children to use. Staff may handle information about child participants where needed to coordinate support.

Retention and deletion

Work and care records are kept for as long as they are needed for service delivery, employment, safeguarding, audit and legal record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate and lawful. A record may need to be retained even after a staff account is disabled.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, including authenticated access to the app and encrypted network connections. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your sign-in details private and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

Access, correction and privacy questions

To request access to or correction of personal information, or to ask a question or raise a concern about this policy, contact Inspire Disability Care at support@inspiredisabilitycare.com.au or call 1300 086 861. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may need to retain records where required by law or for care and safeguarding purposes.
